Rocksmith might have never taken off like Rock Band or Guitar Hero but its goal was laudable: being able to teach guitar in a fun and easy to use package. The game went on multiple iterations but never really found its audience despite a huge catalog of songs.Curiously enough, Ubisoft is bringing its guitar-learning game to iOS and the iPad version of the app is soft launched right now in Canada. It's also quite generous with all of the 80 lessons offered for free without any kinds of ads or subscription and with only some additional songs available as paid DLC..
